Silent Rope Jam

  • UHU Nest 7-9 Moosdorfstraße Berlin, BE, 12435 Germany (map)

You are invited to take the space to slow down, relax together, and get deep into your tying headspace in a distraction free atmosphere.

What do we mean by “silent?”

The tying space is to be kept as free of talking as possible. Communication about the scene you are taking part in—for example check ins, feedback and safe-words—is of course permitted and very much encouraged. Noises related to tying and play are also very welcome, although you are asked to respect the space of the people around you, and be aware that this may not be the right event for a scene that involves noise that is intensely loud, and prolonged or persistent. General chatting is to be kept the the kitchen area.

WHAT TO WEAR

There is no mandatory dress code, but you are encouraged to dress up a little to help make this space feel a little special: wear something that makes you feel creative, experimental, sensual, relaxed or ridiculous (and not forgetting the fact that we’re just one day before Halloween so outfits with a spooky theme are also welcome).

ACCESSIBILITY

This event extends a warm welcome to everyone. We want to create an inclusive space for LGBTQIA, BIPOC, neurodivergent, and disabled individuals, of all body shapes and sizes. Unfortunately, the current venue is not wheelchair accessible. If you require specific accommodations, please don't hesitate to reach out in advance.

To sign up you must fill out the form below. If for any reason you can’t make it let us know as soon as you can. Space is limited, and there are sometimes people on the waiting list who we could give your space to.

DOORS

Doors are open from 19:45 to 20:15 only! Please don't arrive earlier than 19:45.
Entry fees:
10€ regular, 5€ low income, 15€ supporter (to be paid in cash on the door)

What to bring: Your ropes! There are mats and cushions available at the venue, but more blankets/mats etc. are always useful. If you want to suspend, please also bring your cutting tool, carabiners, suspension ring etc. There are also a certain number of bamboos available.

CONSENT

Please be aware that understandings of consent can vary, and check with your partner(s) before (and during) playing. Feel free to approach the organiser with concerns, if you feel uncomfortable, disrespected, or that there was an incident or violation regarding your boundaries. We will do our best to provide support as needed. Our priority is that you feel taken seriously, whatever the issue may be.

Invite: Feel free to forward this page to friends and tying partners!
